Train The Trainer (TTT) Programme in Pipe Jacking Fundamental Technology

To support the professional and internationally aligned development of Malaysia’s engineering education ecosystem and in line with the national Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) framework, Bright Future Nantang conducted the 7-Day Train The Trainer (TTT) Programme in Pipe Jacking Fundamental Technology.

The programme was designed for lecturers and technical instructors, providing them with foundational knowledge and understanding of Pipe Jacking Machine and Microtunnelling Technology. Guided by internationally recognized engineering training standards, the training aimed to support educators in introducing these technologies to students within technical and vocational education programmes.

The programme introduced participants to fundamental concepts of pipe jacking equipment, basic construction processes, site coordination, safety considerations, and instructional approaches related to underground construction technologies. Through the training, lecturers gained an overview of the subject matter, enabling them to incorporate relevant concepts into their teaching and classroom discussions.

Through this Train The Trainer approach, industry knowledge can be translated into structured educational content and teaching materials, supporting knowledge sharing within Malaysia’s TVET education system.

This initiative contributes to strengthening Malaysia’s technical education capacity, while helping to expose future technical and vocational students to emerging underground infrastructure technologies such as pipe jacking and microtunnelling.
